Union Government approves extension of Noida Metro from Depot station to Bodaki in Uttar Pradesh

The Union Government has approved the extension of Noida Metro’s Aqua Line from Depot station to the proposed Multi Modal Transport Hub at Bodaki in Uttar Pradesh.

The project spanning 2.6 km will be built in three years at an estimated investment of Rs 4.16 billion. Of the total cost, Rs 2.12 billion will be given by government institutions such as the National Capital Region Planning Board, the central government will provide Rs 0.71 billion, the state government will share Rs 0.91 billion equity in the project, the land component will be Rs 0.10 billion and other components.

This corridor will be constructed on standard gauge (1,435 millimetres), traction system of 15kv AC overhead wire with supervisory control and data acquisition system.
