Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited has completed oscillation and emergency braking distance trials for rolling stock on Subhash Nagar – AIIMS stretch under the Bhopal Metro Phase I Project.
The trials were conducted by Research, Design and Standards Organisation. The trials focussed on assessing the oscillatory behaviour and braking performance of the rolling stock under various operational scenarios.
The Bhopal Metro Project involves development of a metro rail transit system in Madhya Pradesh comprising two corridors of a total length of 27.87 km at an estimated cost of Rs 69.4 billion.
