Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has launched a new Roll-on Roll-off (Ro-Ro) car transportation service on the route between Kolad in Maharashtra and Verna in Goa. The service will commence from Kolad on August 23, 2025, and from Verna on August 24, 2025, operating on alternate days in each direction until September 11, 2025. The rake designed for this service can accommodate 40 cars per trip, with two cars loaded on each of the 20 wagons.
Additionally, up to three persons per car may travel in the attached third-air conditioned (3AC) coach or second seating coach by paying the specified fare.
