Krishnapatnam Port recorded highest ever monthly cargo throughput by handling 5.85 million metric tonnes (mmt) in June 2025. Operated by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, the port has surpassed its previous record of 5.74 mmt, marking the second consecutive month of record-breaking performance.
This achievement not only underscores the port’s operational and logistical strength but also reinforces its growing importance as a strategic maritime gateway on India’s eastern coast.
