Ministry of Railways completes DPR for the Pune-Nashik Semi-High Speed Rail Line Project in Maharashtra

The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has completed preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Pune-Nashik Semi-High Speed Rail Line Project.

The project involves laying a new rail line between Pune and Nashik in Maharashtra. It was sanctioned in the Railway Budget 2013-14 and is expected to be completed in 3.5 years after the commencement of work. The project will be funded by the Ministry of Railway (MoR) and the state government equally.
