Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has conducted trial runs on the Maan Depot – PMR4 stretch under the Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Metro Rail Project (Corridor 3 of Pune Metro).
Besides, the project has achieved about 87 per cent progress.
The corridor 3 of Pune metro involves development of a 23.3 km long metro rail system connecting Hinjewadi IT Park to Shivajinagar in Pune, Maharashtra. It is being implemented on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis under a public-private partnership mode and will be entirely elevated, comprising a total of 23 stations.
