The joint venture (JV) of Mangukiya Brothers Project Private Limited – Jayantisuper has received a work order for a contract worth Rs 2,274.57 million for the implementation of the Kopargaon Underground Drainage Scheme (UGDS) Phase 1 under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagrotthan Maha – Abhiyan in Ahilyanagar district in Maharashtra. Bids for the same were invited by the Kopargaon Municipal Corporation in January 2025.
The scope of work includes working survey for Phase 1, collection system (length, 144.50 km) house service connection (14,962 nos), utility shifting for phase 1, road restoration for phase 1, special purpose vehicle mounted combination of suction cum jetting machine, push through for crossing line under major road, utility shifting for phase 1, wet well and pump house at o-1 (diameter 8m, depth 13.47m), rising main from wet well 1 to sewage treatment plant (STP) (DI- K9 450 mm, diameter L-50m), 13 million litres per day (mld) STP, solar power plant at STP and SPS and other related infrastructure.
The work is likely to be completed in two years.
