Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port has recently commissioned two high-capacity mobile harbour cranes at Netaji Subhas Dock (NSD) within the Kolkata Dock System (KDS). Implemented by the Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, these mobile harbour cranes are electricity-powered, underscoring the port’s commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable port operations. Besides, deployment of these cranes is expected to significantly improve the overall productivity and performance of the container terminal at NSD.
