The joint venture of M/s P P Gogad and Anand Construwell Private Limited has won the contract for implementation of the Vadhavan Port Water Supply Scheme (WSS) at Dahanu taluk in Palghar district for an amount worth Rs 1,235.37 million. Bids for the same were invited by the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran in December 2024.
The scope of work includes construction of intake well, connecting main, jackwell, approach bridge, 6.1 km long raw water rising main, 48.78 km long raw water gravity main, 23 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), elevated service reservoirs (ESRs) and other related infrastructure. The work is likely to be completed in two years.
