Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) wins engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) contract from Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan for the Package-I of Surajgarh and Udaipurwati Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project (Phase II) in Jhunjhunu district of the state.
The scope of work includes supply and installation of 5,251 km transmission and distribution pipelines, construction of 38 ground level reservoirs with a cumulative capacity of 40 ML, 20 pump houses and 132 overhead service reservoirs with an aggregate capacity of 25 ML to meet the demand for water supply in 285 villages and towns of Surajgarh and Udaipurwati in the Jhunjhunu district.
