Centre inaugurates India’s largest automobile Gati Shakti multi-modal cargo terminal in Haryana 

The Union Government inaugurated India’s largest automobile Gati Shakti multi-modal cargo terminal at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Manesar, Haryana, on June 17, 2025, to enhance logistics efficiency in automobile transportation. The facility has the highest loading capacity in the country, capable of handling 0.45 million automobiles per annum.

It is connected to Patli railway station via a 10 km dedicated rail link, which is part of the 121.7 km long Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor being developed by the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (HRIDC).  This 10 km long rail link has been built with a total investment of Rs 8 billion, including Rs 6.84 billion contributed by HRIDC and Rs 1.16 billion by Maruti Suzuki.
