IR’s first hydrogen powered train to halt at 12 stations in Haryana

IR is likely to halt its first hydrogen powered train at 12 stations along the 89 km-long Jind-Sonipat route in Haryana. The stations include Jind City, Pandu Pindara, Lalit Khera halt, Bhambhewa, Ishapur Kheri halt, Butana halt, Gohana, Rabhra halt, Lath halt, Mohana Haryana, Khandari halt and Barwasni halt. The train is expected to cover the distance in about 90 minutes and will consist of 10 coaches powered by a 1,200 horsepower (hp) engine.
