India and Saudi Arabia sign agreement on energy cooperation

India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in the energy sector. It covers collaboration in electricity and renewable energy, including the completion of a detailed joint study on electrical interconnection between the two countries. The two nations will also exchange expertise in grid automation, connectivity, security and resilience, alongside cooperation in renewable energy and energy storage technologies.
