Bhoorathnom Construction Company Private Limited has won the contracts worth Rs 3,030.12 million and Rs 3,545.75 million for implementation of two packages under the Ghatol, Banswara Water Supply Project in Rajasthan. Bids for the same were invited by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan in July 2024.
The scope of the project includes construction of a water treatment plant (WTP) of 37.5 mld capacity, construction of 75 (15,750 ml) elevated service reservoir and laying and jointing of village distribution system of length 2,661.44 km, raw water transmission mains line of 3 km, clear water transmission mains line of 130 km and clear water rising mains line of 348.55 km.
The work on the project is likely to be completed in 20 months and includes one-year defect liability period (DLP) and 10 years of operation and maintenance (O&M).
