The Bihar government has approved the preparation of pre-feasibility reports for airports at Madhubani, Birpur (Supaul), Munger, Valmikinagar (West Champaran), Bhagalpur and Saharsa. It has allocated funds worth Rs 24.3 million to the AAI for the same. The airports were introduced as a part of the state’s budget for 2025-26.
