OIL commenced exploration and production activities with the initial drilling of the Debtamura 1 well in the AA/ONDSF/Tulamara/2018 block on May 11, 2025. Debtamura 1 is located about 120 km from Agartala, inside Baramura-Debtamura reserve forest in Gomati district. The AA/ONDSF/Tulamara/2018 block is located in South Tripura Gomati district. It was awarded to OIL under the second round of the discovered small-field auction.
