Dara Engineering & Infrastructures wins contract for Pratapgarh, Arnod, Peepalkhoont Blocks Drinking Water Supply Project (Package II) in Rajasthan

Dara Engineering & Infrastructures Private Limited has won the contract worth Rs 3,577.2 million for Pratapgarh, Arnod, Peepalkhoont Blocks Drinking Water Supply Project (Package II) in Rajasthan under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). Bids for the same were invited by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan in March, 2024.

The scope of the project includes construction of a cluster distribution system of length 921.88 km, village distribution system of length 1,744.93 km, DI K-7 pipe of length 107.95 km and 65,647  FHTCs. The project covers 524 villages of Pratapgarh, Arnod and Peepalkhoont Blocks including their 292 other habitations of district Pratapgarh with Jakham Dam as the water source. The project includes a one year defect liability period (DLP) followed by ten years of operation and maintenance (O&M).

The work on the project is likely to be completed in 20 months.
