AAI has submitted the final feasibility report for the Hosur Greenfield Airport to the Tamil Nadu government. Further, the state government is likely to seek approval from the Ministry of Defence for the airport. The airport is planned to be set up on 2,000 acres of land, with a capacity of 30 mppa. The project involves the development of a greenfield airport at Hosur in the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu.
