JK Cement formalises JV with Saifco Cement, acquires 60 per cent stake

JK Cement has formalised a joint venture (JV) with Saifco Cement, acquiring a 60 per cent stake in the company. With this move, JK Cement will become the first major cement manufacturer to establish production in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The agreement to acquire the 60 per cent stake in Saifco Cement was signed in January 2025.
