Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited to collaborate in the field of railway infrastructure and allied sectors. The MoU focuses on key areas such as the maintenance and manufacturing of rolling stock, operation and maintenance of rolling stock and workshops, development and operation of wheel set manufacturing facility and bogie manufacturing plants, development of metro coaches and trainsets in India, and the execution of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and allied infrastructure projects.
Additionally, the partnership aims to implement advanced technologies and innovations in automation, digitalisation, sustainable solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, green technologies, and other emerging fields relevant to railway infrastructure.
