Telangana government to inaugurate Kondapur Flyover Project by July 2025 end

The government of Telangana is likely to inaugurate the Kondapur Flyover under the Greater Hyderabad Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) Project by the end of July 2025.

The scope of work involves construction of a six lane two-way flyover from Kondapur to Outer Ring Road (ORR) at the second level of Gachibowli junction and an 823 m long four-lane bi-directional flyover from Shilpa Layout to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Gachibowli Junction at an estimated cost of Rs 3,135.2 million.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has proposed to develop SRDP to improve 200 km of major roads and another 2,000 km of minor and interior roads in Telangana. SRDP comprises skyways, major corridors, major roads, other roads and grade separators/flyovers. The state government has proposed to execute the project in four phases on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode with phase I to be developed on a priority basis. The project entails an investment of Rs 192.22 billion.
