Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and GRG Infra Private Limited have won the contract for strengthening and rehabilitation of two packages under the Kekri-Sarwar water supply scheme (WSS) and water production system of Ajmer district from Bisalpur Dam under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Rajasthan on May 22, 2025. Bids for the same were invited by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan in August 2024.
- L&T won the contract worth Rs 2,622.406 million for Package II. The scope of the project includes construction of a raw water rising main system from intake to Kekri water treatment plant (WTP) with electro-mechanical work at intake including operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years and a defect liability period (DLP) of one year.
- GRG Infra Private Limited won the contract worth Rs 2,166.19 million for package IV. It includes construction of a cluster pumping system, overhead service reservoir (OHSRs), distribution system including functional housetap connection (FHTC) of Kekri Sarwar area including O&M for 10 years and DLP of one year. The work is likely to be completed in 20 months.
