Waaree Energies acquires Kamath Transformers

Waaree Energies Limited has acquired a 100 per cent equity stake in Kamath Transformers Private Limited at an approximate cost of Rs 2.93 billion. The move is part of Waaree’s strategic expansion into the transformer manufacturing segment. The deal will be an all-cash transaction and is expected to be completed by 2025-26.
