Indian Railways has planned to establish a Vande Bharat train maintenance and training facility at the Nishatpura rail coach factory in Bhopal, with an investment of Rs 1.5 billion. The facility will have the capacity to maintain up to 10 Vande Bharat trains.
It will also be equipped with a modern laboratory featuring advanced diagnostic devices and simulation systems to provide training to railway personnel. The facility is expected to be commissioned by 2026.
