The Uttar Pradesh government has set aside Rs 12.53 billion to enhance road connectivity in industrial and logistics parks in an effort to provide world-class facilities. The government has identified 33 highways in the state’s industrial districts and logistics parks. This project will be carried out in collaboration between the infrastructure and industrial development department and the public works department (PWD).
The project aims to upgrade routes that link startups, small companies, and independent units to improve accessibility and facilitate the efficient operation of small businesses. To ensure that projects are completed on schedule, the plan pays particular attention to locations where industrial clusters are being developed.
This drive for improved connectivity is a calculated action with several advantages. It will decrease travel time for logistics, lower transportation costs, and boost industrial competitiveness.
