SAM India Builtwell Private Limited has cast the first pier cap for the design and construction of viaduct and stations under the Phase IC and ID of the Jaipur Metro Rail project.
The scope of package involves design and construction of elevated ramp, elevated viaduct and one elevated station (Transport Nagar) from chainage 13,040 metres to 13,996 metres of Phase IC and design and construction of elevated viaduct and one elevated station (Ajmer Road Chauraha including loop line) from Mansarovar dead end to Ajmer Road Chauraha dead end (chainage 1,243.93 meters to chainage 2,595.93 metres) of Phase ID, including entry/ exit structures, architectural finishing, water supply, sanitary installations, drainage works, pre-engineered sheet roof structure, roof sheeting works and electrical and mechanical (E&M) works for both phases. The contract was awarded in December 2023.
The Phase 1C of the project involves the development of a 2.85 km long metro connecting Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar.
The Phase ID of the project involves extending the Jaipur metro from Mansarovar to Ajmer Road by a 2 km long elevated metro network in Rajasthan.
