Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has dispatched the three cars of the third train set for RV Road – Bommasandra stretch under the Bengaluru Metro Rail Phase II project. It is likely to deliver three more soon.
Besides, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is likely to receive the third set of metro coaches for the stretch by May 15, 2025.
The stretch is likely to become operational by 2026.
The project involves construction of four extensions and two new lines covering a length of 72.09 km (13.79 km underground and 58.3 km elevated), in Karnataka, at an investment of Rs 306.95 billion.
