SJVN Limited has signed an MoU with the Chhattisgarh government and Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited to develop an 1,800 MW pumped hydro storage project in Kotpali. Under the agreement, SJVN will invest Rs 95 billion in the off-stream closed-loop project in Balrampur district.
