The Government of Bihar has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Railways (MoR) for the development of a new railway line connecting Motipur to Sahebganj. Besides, a railway siding near Paru Khas, Deoria and Sahebganj has also been proposed.
The project involves laying a 35 km long new line from Motipur to Sahebganj in Bihar.
