In a notable development, memorandum of understanding (MoUs) was signed for various projects worth over Rs 57 billion for infrastructure development at the Vadhvan Port.
These include development of a multi-purpose terminal for container, bulk, and liquid cargo with an investment of Rs 42 billion, a dedicated bulk and liquid cargo terminal with an investment of Rs 10 billion, and the construction of a liquid cargo jetty along with a tank farm of 300,000 cubic metres capacity for handling liquefied chemicals and related products with an investment of Rs 5 billion.
These strategic agreements represent a significant step forward in enhancing multi-modal connectivity and expanding trade capacity at the port.
