The detailed project report (DPR) is in the final stages for the Prayagraj Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) project and is likely to be completed soon. It is being prepared by the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA).
After completion, the DPR will be sent to the government of Uttar Pradesh for approval.
The project involves development of a 44 km MRTS network in Prayagraj city of Uttar Pradesh. It is likely to be developed in two corridors with Corridor I spanning 23 km from Barmauli to City Forest Lake (Andhawa) covering 20 stations and Corridor II spanning 21 km from Shantipuram to Cheoki covering 19 stations.
