The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) granted safety clearance for the 29.55 km long Deoband (Muzaffarnagar)-Roorkee New Line Project in Uttar Pradesh.
The project involved construction of a 29.55 km long new broad-gauge line connecting Deoband (Muzaffarnagar) to Roorkee in Uttar Pradesh at an estimated cost of Rs 8.23 billion.
