Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Drydocks World, a DP world subsidiary, to develop world-class ship repair clusters in India. The collaboration aims to strengthen India’s maritime infrastructure by establishing modern ship repair facilities in Kochi (Kerala) and Vadinar (Gujarat).
The partnership also envisions expanding into areas such as offshore fabrication, marine engineering, and strategic infrastructure projects.
These facilities will follow international best practices, enhancing the nation’s ship repair capabilities and supporting key government initiatives like Maritime India Vision 2030 and Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.
