Northeast Frontier Railway achieved a freight loading of 10.68 million tonnes (mt) during the financial year (FY) 2024-25, marking a 4.3 per cent increase over the previous year.
Additionally, in March 2025 alone, it recorded a cumulative loading of 1.05 mt. This includes 61.9 per cent increase in stone chips loading, 28.6 per cent in fertilisers, 9.6 per cent in cement, and 7.4 per cent in miscellaneous products, among others.
