The Government of Tamil Nadu has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Railways (MoR) to develop a new rail line connecting Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu to Mysuru station in Karnataka.
The project involves construction of a new rail line from Coimbatore to Mysuru via Mettupalayam, Sathyamangalam and Chamarajanagar.
