The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has given an in-principle approval for the new Parandur Airport at Tamil Nadu.
The construction for phase 1 is likely to commence by January 2026, and be completed in around two years.
The move is expected to enhance regional connectivity and strengthen the aviation infrastructure in Tamil Nadu.
