Urban Development and Housing Department, Rajasthan has approved the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model for the Jaipur metro rail project phase II.
Besides, the state and central governments are likely to bear 20 per cent each of the cost and the remaining 60 per cent is likely to be borne by funding agencies.
The Phase II of the Jaipur Metro Project involves development of line 2 of the Jaipur metro network from Ambabari to Sitapura Industrial Area and its extension till Vidhyanagar in Rajasthan. The project will be implemented by the Rajasthan Metro Railway Corporation.
