Kalyan Toll Infrastructure wins contract for development of Gondia water supply scheme in Maharashtra

Kalyan Toll Infrastructure Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1,871.38 million for development of the Gondia water supply scheme (WSS) under the Maharashtra Suvarn Jayanti Nagarotthan Maha-Abhiyan. Bids for the same were invited by the Gondia Municipal Council in September 2024.

The scope of work includes construction of intake well, connecting main, jack well and over head pump house, approach bridge, raw water pumping machinery, raw water rising main, break pressure tank, raw water gravity main, 20 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), pure water pumping machinery, pure water rising main, membrane batch reactor, pure water gravity main, elevated service reservoirs, distribution system, 24×7 zoning, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation, push through, trial run and other related works. The work is likely to be completed in a year.
