The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) granted safety clearance to the 14.64 km long Shokhuvi–Molvom section under the Dhansiri-Sukhobi-Zubza New Line Railway Project (Erstwhile Dimapur-Zubza Railway Line Project).
The project involves development of an 82.5 km long new rail line between Dhansiri (Dimapur) to Zubza (Kohima) in Nagaland with an investment of Rs 66.63 billion. The project was sanctioned in Railway Budget 2007-08 as a national project.
