NHPC Limited has successfully completed the trial of Unit#3 (200 MW) of the 800 MW Parbati-II Hydro Electric Project (4×200 MW) in Himachal Pradesh on March 26, 2025.
With this, the trial runs of two units, Unit#2 and Unit#3 have been completed. The trial runs for the remaining two units of the project are expected to be completed by March 31, 2025. Once fully commissioned, Parbati-II will significantly bolster NHPC’s hydropower generation capacity.
