The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has conducted a safety inspection on the 26.88 km long Boudh-Purunakatak section of the Khurda Road-Bolangir New Line Project.
The project involves construction of a 289 km long broad gauge railway line from Khurda Road to Bolangir under the Khurda division of East Coast Railway (ECoR), aiming at connecting Western Odisha with Eastern Odisha at an estimated cost of Rs 37.91 billion.
