Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has inaugurated its fourth schedule-2 (railway land) Gati Shakti cargo terminal (GCT) at New Gothangam, Gujarat, on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC). This is the second GCT operationalised during the financial year (FY) 2024-25.
Further, GCTs at New Sardhana and New Sakun are currently under construction, while approval for the GCT at New Dabla is expected by March 31, 2025. Additionally, works on schedule-1 (private land) terminals, including New Sanjali, New Rewari, New Malikpur, New Dadri, New Dabla, New Dharuhera, and New Jeonathpur, are also underway.
