The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has given the in-principle approval for extending the Millenium City Centre – Samaypur Badli corridor of Delhi metro till Sonipat in Haryana. The extension is likely to pass via Nathupur.
Further, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is likely to prepare the detailed project report soon for the approved extension.
The proposed extension aims at integrating the Delhi metro with Haryana’s transport infrastructure.
