Haryana government allocates funds for HUDA City Centre-Cyber City metro project 

The Government of Haryana has allocated funds worth Rs 3 billion for the Huda City Centre-Cyber City metro rail project under the state budget for FY 2025-26.

The project involves development of a 28.5 km long metro route in Gurugram, Haryana. It will be implemented by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) at an estimated cost of Rs 54.52 billion. It will connect Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar phase-5 and merge with rapid metro rail, Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City. It will also have a spur at Dwarka Expressway.

Besides, feasibility studies are underway for Bahadurgarh-Asoda metro, Bahadurgarh-Palwal metro and Vatika Chowk-Pachgaon metro in Gurugram. Also, an intercity express metro from Bata Chowk (Faridabad) to Sector 56, Gurugram is also being explored.
