Santosh Construction and Infra Private Limited has received a work order for a contract worth Rs 844.08 million for the implementation of water supply scheme at Majalgaon under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagarotthan Mahaabhiyan. Bids for the same were invited by the Majalgaon Municipal Council in October 2024.
It includes a working survey, approach channel, jackwell, approach bridge, raw water rising main, 10 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), feeder main from various elevated service reservoirs (ESRs), 98.154 km long distribution network and other related works.
The work is likely to be completed in 18 months followed by three months trial run.
