The construction work on two STPs at Puducherry and Karaikal regions is likely to be completed in 2025. The scope of work includes construction of two STPs having capacities of 15 million litres per day (mld) in Puducherry and 11 mld at Karaikal, respectively at an estimated cost of Rs 815.1 million.
Besides, a tender for the construction of a brackish water desalination plant in Puducherry is likely to be invited soon.
