Central Railway (CR) has achieved freight loading of 74.39 million tonnes (mt) during 2024-25 (till February 2025). In February 2025, the zone registered freight loading of 7.28 mt, which includes 208 rakes of petroleum products, 114 rakes of fertilisers, and 244 rakes of cement.
Additionally, the average speed of freight trains in the zone has increased by 2.1 per cent compared to the previous year.
