ONGC Green, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), has acquired a 100 per cent stake in PTC Energy for Rs 9.25 billion. ONGC Green acquired 654.1 million equity shares of PTC Energy Limited. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of PTC India Limited, with an operational wind capacity of 288.80 MW with projects in seven locations across Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. With this move, the company aims to boost its investments in the renewable energy sector and reduce its carbon footprint.
