Alstom Transport India Limited has delivered the sixth trainset for the Bhopal metro rail project phase I.
The trainset is aligned with new age urban transit requirements and will further undergo necessary testing and integration procedures. This is expected to significantly improve operational readiness and support the implementation.
The Bhopal metro project involves development of a metro rail transit system in Madhya Pradesh comprising two corridors of a total length of 27.87 km at an estimated cost of Rs 69.4 billion.
