Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRC) is planning new corridors for the Lucknow metro project. The corridors are: the 6.45 km Munshipulia-Jankipuram corridor, the 17.16 km Indian Institute of Management-Rajajipuram corridor, the 8.85 km Charbagh-Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Science corridor and the 3.8 km Indira Nagar-Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium corridor. Besides, feasibility studies are under way for the following corridors: the 16.7 km Ekana Stadium-Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport corridor and the 9.24 km Sachivalaya-CG City South corridor.
